Set eight inlaid Hepplewhite chairs: assembled set of seven comprising one period arm and one period side chair with inlaid backs and tapered square legs with stretchers, British, late 18th/early 19th century; with five nearly identical inlaid side chairs with molded and inlaid square legs, late 19th/early 20th century, armchair 38 x 22 x 18-1/2 in. Armchair retains early possibly original underupholstery, patches and repairs at joint with stiles and crest rail, period chairs with pest damage to rails; others in generally good condition with normal wear and abrasions, not fully examined under upholstery.
